Take measurements, fold in the workshop, install outside — the dispatch board plans both per crew. If a storm is forecast, bad-weather mode moves all roof work of a day in one go, and the crew pre-folds the next chimney flashing in the workshop: idle time never happens. Material and measurements sit in the customer file — zinc, copper or aluminium, gutter length in metres, visible right in the customer list: the order is right before the crew climbs the roof.

Hosting, updates and support are always included, and you can switch anytime. Asset management and invoicing are included in every variant, and you never pay per user.
Can I manage gutter maintenance contracts?
Yes — that is the core of Blechwerk: gutter systems are stored as assets on the customer, with material and maintenance interval. The dashboard shows the due list well before leaf season, one click turns the due asset into a maintenance appointment, and after the visit “last maintained” updates automatically. Contract customers filter with one click in the customer list.
Does it help with storm damage?
Yes — timestamped photos hang on the appointment: the damage before the repair, the finished detail after. That also serves as proof for the insurer, and the complete history lives permanently in the customer file.
What if a storm kills the roof work?
That is when bad-weather mode kicks in: all roof work of a day moves in one go, crew assignments stay — and the crew gets a workshop day: folding, prefabricating, tidying up. No lost day, no reshuffling chaos.
Does Blechwerk warn me about double-booked tools?
Yes — when creating an appointment, Blechwerk checks whether the folding bench, ladder or fall protection is already scheduled on another site the same day and warns immediately. Warning instead of blocking: you decide. The dashboard widget also shows where each kit is today.
Can I write invoices with Blechwerk?
Yes — invoicing is a core feature, not a paid add-on. Invoices are created straight from the completed appointment, right after the customer signature if you wish, with per-metre and flat-rate positions from the service template. Invoice numbers are compliant and gap-free, the number range is freely configurable — existing businesses continue seamlessly from their last number. Plus: PDF with your own letterhead, open items, payment reminders and dunning with one click. If you prefer to work without the invoicing module, simply hide it.
Does Blechwerk support XRechnung?
Yes — invoices can be exported as officially validated XRechnung e-invoices. Especially with property managers and public-sector clients, that puts you on the safe side. Dispatch goes straight from the system by email, via your own SMTP server or SendGrid.
Does my tax adviser get the data?
Yes, with one click: the DATEV export produces the posting batch plus all document PDFs for the chosen period — ready to hand over to the firm.
What do I need to run Blechwerk?
A completely normal web hosting package with PHP and a MySQL database — no special server, no forced cloud. We handle installation and setup. And with the fully managed package you need nothing at all: Blechwerk then runs entirely on our servers.
Can I test Blechwerk beforehand?
Yes — the live demo is open to everyone: a complete installation with a sample company, two crews, 9 kits, priced templates and a customer with a stored gutter system (maintenance due on the dashboard). Does it work on the iPad and without reception?
Yes. Blechwerk is a web app (PWA) with an app icon on the home screen. The time clock and daily tour work even on the roof without reception and sync as soon as the network returns.
Does the software run under my company name?
Yes — white-label is included. Login, app name and business details carry your company, and your invoices appear on your own letterhead.
What about data protection?
Your customer and employee data lives on your own server — not in someone else's cloud. Roles and permissions control who sees what, an audit log documents changes, and uploaded photos are automatically stripped of GPS data.
Can Blechwerk be adapted or extended for my company?
Yes. Modules can be switched off individually, and from extra fields to entire extensions — such as quoting or a client portal — we build additions on request at a fixed price. The fastest way is our ticket system: describe your wish and we reply with a fixed-price quote.
