Measure roof areas from your desk
Before the first site visit, the customer file already delivers the facts: the satellite view shows the roof, and with the area measuring tool you draw the south, east and west roof faces — square metres are calculated automatically and stored in the PV property data. Together with roof covering, orientation and pitch, this becomes the pre-planning for photovoltaic installation projects, without anyone climbing a ladder.
Asset management: turning installs into a maintenance business
Every installed system — PV array, battery storage, wallbox — is stored with the customer, with installation date, serial number and maintenance interval. The dashboard shows due maintenance, one click turns it into a service appointment, and after completion the asset rolls forward automatically. Every installation becomes plannable, recurring revenue: maintenance contracts, checks with measurement reports and module cleaning run by themselves.
From instalment to final invoice
PV projects run for weeks — Solarwerk maps this with the project file: appointments and invoices attach to the project, instalments are numbered automatically, and the final invoice offsets all instalments by itself. Full invoicing is a core feature: compliant gap-free numbering, officially validated XRechnung e-invoices for commercial and public-sector clients, DATEV export for the tax adviser and one-click dunning.

With Solarwerk you pick one of three plans — Basis €59.90/month (€49.90 billed yearly) for up to 5 employees, Pro €114.90 (€94.90 yearly) for up to 15 employees, Premium €199.90 (€169.90 yearly) for unlimited employees. Hosting, updates and support are always included, and you can switch anytime. Asset management and invoicing are included in every variant, and you never pay per user.
Can I map maintenance contracts?
Yes — that is a core idea of Solarwerk: assets are stored with the customer including a maintenance interval, the due list on the dashboard shows what is coming up, and recurring appointments map fixed maintenance contracts and module-cleaning rhythms. One click turns a due asset into the service appointment; after completion the interval rolls forward automatically.
Can I write invoices with Solarwerk?
Yes — invoicing is a core feature, not a paid add-on. Invoices are created straight from the completed appointment, right after the acceptance signature if you wish, with positions prefilled from the service template. Invoice numbers are compliant and gap-free, the number range is freely configurable. Plus: PDF with your own letterhead, open items, payment reminders and dunning with one click — and the project file with automatically offset instalment and final invoices.
Does Solarwerk support XRechnung?
Yes — invoices can be exported as officially validated XRechnung e-invoices. Especially in the PV business with commercial clients and public-sector customers, that puts you on the safe side. Dispatch goes straight from the system by email, via your own SMTP server or SendGrid.
Does my tax adviser get the data?
Yes, with one click: the DATEV export produces the posting batch plus all document PDFs for the chosen period — ready to hand over to the firm.
What do I need to run Solarwerk?
A completely normal web hosting package with PHP and a MySQL database — no special server, no forced cloud. We handle installation and setup. And with the fully managed package you need nothing at all: Solarwerk then runs entirely on our servers.
Can I test Solarwerk beforehand?
Yes — the live demo is open to everyone: a complete installation with a sample company, two crews, 14 tools, priced templates and customers with stored assets including due maintenance and a running project. Tap “Als Chef testen” (test as boss) on the login page, done. The demo resets itself every 30 minutes. Does it work on the iPad and without reception?
Yes. Solarwerk is a web app (PWA) with an app icon on the home screen. The time clock and daily tour work even without reception and sync as soon as the network returns.
Does the software run under my company name?
Yes — white-label is included. Login, app name and business details carry your company, and your invoices appear on your own letterhead.
What about data protection?
Your customer and employee data lives on your own server — not in someone else's cloud. Roles and permissions control who sees what, an audit log documents changes, and uploaded photos are automatically stripped of GPS data.
Can Solarwerk be adapted or extended for my company?
Yes. Modules can be switched off individually, and from extra fields to entire extensions — such as quoting or a monitoring connection — we build additions on request at a fixed price. The fastest way is our ticket system: describe your wish and we reply with a fixed-price quote.
